Collaboration with Teva

Medincell’s UZEDY® is the first commercial product based on its BEPO® long-acting injection technology. Teva is responsible for developing and commercializing of UZEDY® and another long-acting olanzapine injection, mdc-TJK. Medincell may receive up to $222 million in milestones and royalties on sales of both products.

About BEPO® Technology

BEPO® precisely controls the delivery of drugs over extended periods from a small subcutaneous injection. It combines active ingredients with a bioresorbable deposit that releases the drug at a consistent therapeutic level, improving compliance, effectiveness, and accessibility.
