Tennessee Cancer Specialists (TCS), the largest community-based oncology practice in eastern Tennessee and the third largest statewide, has joined The US Oncology Network (The Network). This partnership expands The Network’s reach in the region, enhancing access to advanced cancer care for patients.
TCS benefits from The Network’s comprehensive resources and expertise, including collaboration with over 2,600 independent providers across the US. They gain access to clinical and business consulting services, innovative technologies, and support for high-quality patient care, efficient drug management, and revenue cycle optimization.
Tracy W. Dobbs, TCS practice president, emphasizes the partnership’s value for their growth plans by indicating that they aims to expand by entering new markets, adding physicians, and building service lines.
The Network provides TCS with McKesson Corporation’s suite of solutions, including Ontada’s technologies for enhanced patient referrals, intake, and workflow. Furthermore, access to innovative clinical trial opportunities through the Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) enables TCS to offer patients convenient access to cutting-edge investigational therapies in their communities.
Devon Womack, president of The Network, welcomes TCS, recognizing their long-standing reputation for high-quality cancer care and suggesting that they collaborate with providers who share our commitment to advancing cancer care while ensuring their independence and viability in the evolving healthcare landscape.
