Sonnet BioTherapeutics announced positive safety data for SON-1010 (IL12-FHAB) at the highest dose combined with atezolizumab in a Phase 1b/2a clinical trial. The trial focuses on adult patients with advanced solid tumors or platinum-resistant ovarian cancer (PROC). This positive safety data is crucial for the advancement of SON-1010. Demonstrating a tolerable safety profile, especially at the highest dose, is a critical step in determining the viability of combining SON-1010 with atezolizumab. The Phase 1b/2a trial, known as the SB221 study, is being conducted in collaboration with Roche. The trial is evaluating the safety and efficacy of SON-1010 in combination with atezolizumab (Tecentriq®). The positive safety results from this trial pave the way for continued development and potential expansion of the study. Sonnet is also developing SON-1210, an IL12-FHAB-IL15 for solid tumors, with a planned investigator-initiated Phase 1/2a study for pancreatic cancer in partnership with the Sarcoma Oncology Center.
